Let’s face it, a lot of people would love to have the opportunity to make some extra money when working from home. Luckily there are a number of different things you can do to generate a bit of extra cash. You don’t even need to leave your house to do it! All you need is a laptop, internet connection and some dedication. You’ll be making money in no time. So, we’ve compiled together a list of some of the things you could possibly do to give you some inspiration

Paid surveys

For not much effort, you can find a number of websites where you can fill out simple surveys. The money isn’t always great, but there’s usually the option to get a larger amount in gift cards or discounts for your favorite online stores. Some of the most popular sites include swagbucks and grabpoints.

Paid writing gigs

Fancy yourself a bit of a writer? If so then paid writing gigs could be just the right job for you! It’s usually one of the better-paid side gigs you can get when working from home. It could be everything from personalized messages on sites like fiverr, to articles for online blogs or print magazines. Some other boards to check out for assignments include problogger and upwork.

Sell homemade crafts and gifts

Maybe you’re particularly creative with your hands? There’s a wealth of online marketplaces where you can sell homemade crafts, gifts and artwork. Working from home in this way can be fairly lucrative depending on what you make and the skill involved. With platforms like etsy and ebay, it’s super easy to begin selling your masterpieces online!

Sell stock photos

If you have access to a decent quality camera and a good eye for photography, then selling stock photos may be a work from home option for you. Some sites offer you money for outright buying your images, whilst others give commision every time the picture is purchased. Testing websites

Testing websites is particularly suitable for those with a bit of tech knowledge already. You can work from home, spend a bit of extra time in your internet browser and get some extra money. Tasks range from reviewing website UIs, interacting with online applications or giving your thoughts on website functionality. Take a look at trymyui or usertesting to start earning money testing a wide range of websites.

Online tutoring

If you have a particular skill you can teach, then there are plenty of places online where you can tutor students for a fee. All you need is a microphone or webcam, along with some patience! It could be teaching a language, tutoring for exams or any other subject that people are looking for. Buddyschool and Chegg Tutors are both online boards where you can find students looking for tutors and work successful
