Who is this program for, and what can it do for me?

This program is designed for managers who are currently managing distributed teams or are expecting to manage them in the future. We cover the content that will teach you how to work with 100% remote teams, hybrid teams, and regional functional teams. 

How does it work?

Certified in Distributed Management begins on January 9, 2020. From this date, you and your fellow managers will get access to the content of the course. Bi-weekly we will be unlocking the next module and meet on webinars where we will be discussing some of the most important topics.. You can consume the pre-recorded content at your own pace, investing just 2-3 hours of your time every week. Our approach combines the power of community, daily micro-learning, and content provided by the world’s leading expert to give you a completely different and customized experience. 

What is the curriculum of the program?

The program is conducted entirely online, so you can participate from anywhere, all you need is a laptop.

The program covers 3 core remote team management skills broken down into bi-weekly modules. Weeks 1-2 help you adjust your skills to a remote environment, weeks 3-4 teach you how to build a remote team and weeks 5-6 teach you how to manage it. Each of the modules is further broken down into relevant subsections, which include video lessons, mini-tests, checklists and assessments

80% of each module is self-paced, meaning you can access and complete those parts at any time online. Each module also has 1 live webinar with our experts and 1 live Q&A session, where you will be meeting with the whole class. 

At the end of the program, you will take an exam, which will test your knowledge of the subjects studied and grant you with the certificate. Each module has assessments and checklists to help you prepare for the final exam. 

What are the important dates and deadlines?

The deadline for applying to the course is January 9, 2020. There are also deadlines for each of the three application rounds:

  • Early Bird Round: November 30, 2019.
  • Regular Round: December 31, 2019.
  • Final Call Round: January 9, 2019. 

The course starts on January 9, 2020.
